repair part
I am looking for a "cast metal" fitting that connects hose reel to pump. Sears and other internet companieshave told me I need entire pump. If anyone has a broken one I would be interested in buying for parts. I like to tinker so am intersted in repairing. call me (608) 780-2147. Thanks

There is good spark but would not fire
There is good spark and good compression, even with gas in the in the chamber it would nor fire at all. Could it be the timing is off. I thought these things got fixed timing (none adjustable) . Any help would be appriciated.

Solenoid or starter

Safety switch under the seat
I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I sometimes will have this problem with my DGT6000. I have to wiggle the switch that is under the seat or unhook it, clean the prongs and then put it back. At that point, it seems to work.

I had Exactly the same thing happen to mine. I just purchased a new pump from http://www.ppe-pressure-washer-parts.com/ for $209. It is supposedly an upgrade from the original and has a 2 year warranty. I hope this helps

Does not start
A lot of times, if this model doesn't start, the fuel filter needs replacing. A relatively easy and inexpensive process except in taking off and replacing the snowblower cover.

It's color coded: white wires are pressed into the white connectors. Black striped wires into black connectors and (single) red wire into the red connector. Follow the strip gauge on the diagram...
