  same here, i am religious about checking oiland pump oil before each use and changing said fluids ,even plugs but deteriorating pressure, engine still impressively strong fires first pull cold/hot outside, so why lowering pressure?

  I had already changed the unloader and the seals. Bought a plug in guage from Northern Hydraulics and the pressure was only about 2000psi. I studied the schematic and noticed that a spring was missing from the inlet pipe. The only thing I could figure was that letting this washer sit as much as we did let the metal parts inside rust and deteriorate. I changed the six check valves and got back up to the advertised 3800psi pressure. Bought an aerosol can of pump lube to use as soon as I am done using washer to prevent it from rusting the check valves again. Hope this info helps you with yours. I spent at least $100 that I didn't need to.
