replacing fuel lines

Fuel lines and primer bubble broken. Need info on how to replace them in step by step details. I found the parts at Lowes. I looked at trimmer. The primer bubble has 2 places for lines. I see the carb has 1 place to put a line but the gas tank has 2 spots which is confusing me. How do you get the stubs of fuel line (they're flush w/gas tank) that are still there.
